This is a painting of my husband and daughter hiking at Guardsman Pass in the fall. The entire landscape was yellow. When I completed the painting I thought it was TOO yellow but then I revisited it and realized it's exactly how it looked and felt. I love the contrast of the watery blur of yellow and the distinctive illustration of my greatest loves.
